Business Updates:

🤯 Introducing Emsella & Emsculpt Neo at Divergent Rehab & Wellness 🔥

We’re excited to announce the addition of two powerful tools to our rehab and performance practice:the Emsella Chair and Emsculpt Neo.

These technologies are not cosmetic gimmicks — they are evidence-based,FDA-cleared devices that have undergone significant innovation over the past few years. With updated protocols and expanded functionality, both now offer targeted, functional strengthening applications that align perfectly with the goals of physical therapy.

But let us be clear:

These tools are not replacements for rehab. They are strategic additions to accelerate it.

Why These Tools Belong in a Rehab Setting

Recent advancements have made these technologies more functional, neuromuscular-focused, and clinically relevant than ever. Here’s how we’re using them to enhance outcomes:

🔹Emsella Chair

• Restores pelvic floor strength and improves neuromuscular timing

• Supports recovery from incontinence, prolapse, or postpartum dysfunction

• Provides a non-invasive, high-repetition activation of deep stabilizers

🌸 Emsella Benefits for Women

  • Strengthens pelvic floor muscles to restore control and stability

  • Reduces urinary incontinence (stress, urge, or mixed leakage)

  • Supports postpartum recovery and long-term pelvic health

  • Helps with pelvic organ prolapse symptoms

  • Improves sexual wellness through better muscle tone and circulation

  • Non-invasive and discreet: stay fully clothed during treatment

  • Quick 30-minute sessions with no downtime

💪 Emsella Benefits for Men

  • Improves pelvic floor strength for bladder and core control

  • Reduces urinary urgency, frequency, and leakage

  • Supports recovery after prostate surgery or pelvic procedures

  • Helps address erectile dysfunction (ED) by improving blood flow and muscle tone

  • Enhances sexual health and confidence naturally

  • Promotes core stability and overall pelvic health

  • Comfortable, private, no-downtime treatment

  • Delivers the equivalent of 11,000 Kegels in one session

🔹Emsculpt Neo

• Builds true muscle strength and mass

• Targets the core, hips, and trunk for rehab of low back, pelvic, and postural conditions

• Recent updates allow focused use in postoperative, postpartum, and chronic injury populations

Both technologies are ideal for clients who have difficulty activating key muscle groups, plateaued in therapy, or need to rebuild strength safely and efficiently.

Movement Health Tips

🌟 Pelvic Floor Health: More Than Just a Chair 🍎

At Divergent Rehab & Wellness, we take a whole-body approach. Technology like the Emsella Pelvic Floor Chair is a powerful tool—it delivers over 11,000 Kegels in a single session—but real, lasting results come from pairing it with skilled physical therapy.

Pain Education

🧠 Pelvic Floor Pain Education: Weak vs. Tight Muscles

Your pelvic floor is a group of deep core muscles that work like a sling to support your bladder, bowel, and pelvic organs. Pain or dysfunction doesn’t always mean these muscles are “weak”—they can also be too tight, which requires a very different approach.

🔹 Weak Pelvic Floor

  • Muscles are underactive and lack strength or endurance

  • Common signs:

    • Urinary leakage (coughing, sneezing, exercise)

    • Poor core stability or posture issues

    • Heaviness or pelvic organ prolapse sensations

  • Needs: Strengthening, activation, and retraining

🔹 Tight Pelvic Floor

  • Muscles are overactive, tense, and unable to relax

  • Common signs:

    • Pelvic or low back pain

    • Pain with sitting, intimacy, or exercise

    • Urinary urgency or difficulty starting flow

  • Needs: Relaxation, mobility, and release strategies

💡 Takeaway: Not all pelvic floor issues need strengthening! A skilled pelvic health PT can determine what your body actually needs for relief and function.
