We’re excited to announce the addition of two powerful tools to our rehab and performance practice:the Emsella Chair and Emsculpt Neo.
These technologies are not cosmetic gimmicks — they are evidence-based,FDA-cleared devices that have undergone significant innovation over the past few years. With updated protocols and expanded functionality, both now offer targeted, functional strengthening applications that align perfectly with the goals of physical therapy.
But let us be clear:
These tools are not replacements for rehab. They are strategic additions to accelerate it.

Movement Health Tips

At Divergent Rehab & Wellness, we take a whole-body approach. Technology like the Emsella Pelvic Floor Chair is a powerful tool—it delivers over 11,000 Kegels in a single session—but real, lasting results come from pairing it with skilled physical therapy.

Pain Education
🧠 Pelvic Floor Pain Education: Weak vs. Tight Muscles
Your pelvic floor is a group of deep core muscles that work like a sling to support your bladder, bowel, and pelvic organs. Pain or dysfunction doesn’t always mean these muscles are “weak”—they can also be too tight, which requires a very different approach.
🔹 Weak Pelvic Floor
Muscles are underactive and lack strength or endurance
Common signs:
Urinary leakage (coughing, sneezing, exercise)
Poor core stability or posture issues
Heaviness or pelvic organ prolapse sensations
Needs: Strengthening, activation, and retraining
🔹 Tight Pelvic Floor
Muscles are overactive, tense, and unable to relax
Common signs:
Pelvic or low back pain
Pain with sitting, intimacy, or exercise
Urinary urgency or difficulty starting flow
Needs: Relaxation, mobility, and release strategies
💡 Takeaway: Not all pelvic floor issues need strengthening! A skilled pelvic health PT can determine what your body actually needs for relief and function.
